Velvet Vixenettes Sling
Sexy Sling Flow
Unleash your inner Vixenette with our sexy Sling flow class. Learn a sultry routine combining floorwork, leg waves and body rolls. We are respectful of the Sex Work origins of this sensual style, and prioritise the hire of Sex Workers to teach and choreograph our Vixenettes classes as we believe Industry experience is valuable.
Technique required to enrol into this class:
Must have completed Babydoll Beginner's Sling course (or equivalent) or be an experienced dancer or Aerialist.
Please bring the following items to class:
- Yoga mat
- Small towel
- Water bottle
- Wear something that makes you feel comfortable and/or sexy. Often babes wear active-wear (like leggings and a top), and others prefer lingerie (like a cute bodysuit or two-piece set). Make sure the back of your knees and mid-section are covered, as the fabric can feel quite tight on the skin. It is very important to wear an outfit that has no buckles, buttons, zippers, rhinestones, clasps or anything that can potentially snag the fabric of the sling. All Jewellery, watches and sharp pointed nails and body piercings are also not permitted (you can cover nails and piercings with thick strapping tape - Bandaids don’t hold for the whole lesson).
- Knee Pads
- A pair of Stripper heels (you can buy these from our parlour if you don’t own them already). Heels aren’t compulsory - we understand wearing heels may not be accessible to some babes. If you’re keen to wear heels, we recommend Stripper heels as they accentuate your lines and allow you to twirl more easily (as opposed to regular heels). No Boots!
- We wash our slings regularly, however we kindly ask students to try their best to adhere to adequate hygiene practice, as fabric holds odour more than our other apparatus.
Please be mindful that if you come to class with any item that can snag the fabric of the sling, you will not be permitted to participate in the lesson. If the fabric snags while you are on it, it can be very dangerous for you - or for the next person that uses the apparatus.
